Today we’re catching up with Guest Doodlewasher, Bogdan Shiptenko in Ukraine with this fabulous doodlewash simply entitled “House.” You can check out his previous post for a little background info on him here!

Bogdan draws all the time because he loves what he does. He hopes to inspire others with the work he creates and lives by the motto:  “To get a good result, you need to draw with pleasure and think less about the result.” (Couldn’t agree more! That’s the doodlewash way!)

And best of all, you can watch him paint the piece above and see how he does it – Live! Okay, well it’s previously telecast, but it’s an amazing time lapse video of Bogdan creating the entire doodlewash from start to finish. It’s also an incredibly cool and wonderful tutorial for learning some new techniques in doodlewashing.

Bogdan posts new videos like this every Sunday on his YouTube channel, so definitely subscribe to stay up to date! And if you’re not already, be sure to follow him on Instagram and Facebook! Thanks so much Bogdan for sharing how you make a doodlewash!

  1. I totally just watched that. Wow! That was an education for me. I really like seeing Bogdan put down the layers of color. And water! To see how much water he used–I had no idea. I’ve sort of given up on every getting color that works but this has given me fresh hope. Thank you for posting this! I’m subscribing to his YouTube channel this very instant.
