Tiny Flowers by Philippe Noguera

We’ve been rather busy this week, and last night I realized Philippe hadn’t made a doodlewash yet for his Sunday feature. But there was wine to drink and a delicious dinner to eat, so it was too late to fix it. Luckily, I found this tiny doodlewash he made a couple weeks ago, so Voila!

Actually, the focus of this weekend has been celebrating our 1 year anniversary! On this day one year ago, we were married in California. A shame Phineas couldn’t be there but he hates to fly and doesn’t like to attend weddings.

Paper is the traditional gift for a first year anniversary, so finding this little piece of Arches paper with flowers on it was close enough. We didn’t give each other paper gifts, but instead skipped going out to dinner so we could buy new clothes. Philippe’s idea and it was brilliant!

Hope everyone is enjoying the extra hour of weekend! Here’s to a beautiful November filled with love and lots and lots of doodlewashes!

  1. What a terrific paper find for your first anniversary. Congratulations and wishing you and the love of your life many more to come. Lovely little flowers. What new clothes did you get? Where did you go out for dinner? : )

    1. Awww….Thanks so much Cynthia!! ❤️😃We stayed in and Philippe made dinner (Filet mignon…you know it’s a special occasion when we eat meat! Lol) and with the money we saved we went to Marshall’s and dug through the crap until we found some cool sweaters. We don’t like to pay full price! 😊hehe

    1. Thanks Lance! And yes! But we did it all before it was national, so we were still jumping through hoops. Still couldn’t marry on our own state. It means the world to have your relationship placed on equal governmental and civil rights footing. That’s all that’s ever really mattered to us! 😃
