Delightful Charlie. I needed that smile and a new box of crayons STILL has that affect on me 🙂 <3
Thanks so much, Zoie! 😃💕 Yay! Yeah, nothing beats a fresh box of possibilities!
Beautiful!
Thanks so much, Chantel! 😃💕
Elliott is right, winter is a bad word. Snow, iced, cold, wind are all four letter words.
Now that crayon, funny as a half hour ago I came home from my favourite thrift store (Gospel Mission) after deciding not to buy a $2 box of kids’ crayons just so I could have the black and brown. Why those colours? They make wonderful fixatives for those little paint chips that happen to picture frames. I did however buy one more notebook. See, I’m a writer with a notebook addiction. Sigh.
Green, Charlie O? That is my favourite colour (along with red and orange togethere) and I thought yours is blue? We can share!
Yeah, winter is not a fave for Elliott to be sure! Too much time indoors! hehe Glad you got the notebook… one can never have too many of those. As for Green… it looked better with the coloring of the dog… hehe… but my fave color is still Charlie O’Blue! 😉💕
Hi, Linda! Great news! Results came back normal, thank You, Lord. I was so relieved. I celebrated with ice cream! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you for your prayers, Linda. I’m so ready for good things to come. Sending big hugs!
Thank God and get on with your new life! Let us know where you wen with that!
Thanks, Linda. While I’m jumping at the bit to move things along, I still have a couple of loose ends to deal with medically from the severe allergic reaction, but I will keep you posted. I’m excited, though. I’m ready for good things to come my way. It’s been a long time in coming, but the Lord is faithful. Thank you for your prayers and for your encouragement. 💜🤗
You are welcome and much excellence prevails!
You crack me up, my friend! Your description of Philippe’s reaction and his documentaries had me 🤣🤣🤣😘
Hehe! Thanks, Teresa! 😃💕 Philippe was talking to our friend later that evening after I posted while we were letting our dogs play. She’s Indian and he revealed that India is the largest producer of butter. This, he learned from an hour-long documentary only about “butter”… hehe… he’s fun!
Hah! I love it! You and Philippe are both super fun in your own way!
😂😂😂😂 I laughed at the “he’s fun.” I like nerdy information like that about the butter. 😂😂😂😂
Wonderful essay, full of the hope of spring! Something bright amidst the terrible things taking place in the world right now. And love your drawing of the puppy, delighted with his new crayon! Thank you. 🙂
Thanks so much, Mary! 😃💕 Yeah, the world is pretty dreary at the moment. I much prefer to live inside my happy and hopeful imagination!
Sometimes I’m envious of animal’s with their sense of smell. You say Elliott gets excited walking the same old path with little different, but that’s probably not the case for him. Different dinners being cooked, different animals having passed, other dogs leaving scent markers that tell all sorts of stories about their lives. Everyone else that has walked by since the last time you did. Even the same old path is totally different each time for Elliott. Our vision and the ability to stand upright might have given humans an advantage, but we might have given up a lot because of it!
Indeed we have! Yeah, we say that Elliott has to “read the news” each time we go for a walk. hehe It’s definitely more exciting for him! 😉
Hi, Charlie! No wonder we’re friends. I absolutely love crayons! The delicious smell, their ordered existence in the box (I hate when they get out-of-order), the beautiful wrappers. 💜💜💜 My dream is to buy the gigantic box of Crayola with every single color available. I wouldn’t use them, but just admire them. 😍😍😍
Very sore. A lot of pain. Mega amount of bruising. I get the results on Friday. I’m trying not to worry or feel scared, Charlie.
You hadn’t painted a Beagle in a long time. I miss my gordo. 💜🤗 Big hugs, sweet Charlie!
Crayons are wonderful! But, I have ot admit that I know only enjoy the smell. I can’t get them to color like I’d like… and prefer the smooth transitions and shading of watercolor! lol Though, I do love all of the various names and used to wish I could get a job naming colors when I was young. Sending you love!! Big hugs to you, mi amiga! ❤️
Love your beagle, Charlie. I bought Hogarts Legacy after Christmas for my Xbox. It’s a great game. It’s lovely seeing all the spring flowers coming up, albeit a bit early because of the mild winter.
Thanks so much, Gary! 😃💕 Oh, that’s awesome!! Hogwarts Legacy looks WAY better on an xBox, but it’s still super fun to play on a handheld. I finished the story portion, but there are so many fun side quests it’s sort of endless!
Love this sweet puppy, Charlie! As a child I always dreamed of owning that giant size box of Crayola Crayons and a few years ago treated myself to one. Everytime I open the lid I’m in awe of the range of colors. I rarely use those crayons but that big box of crayons always makes me smile
Thanks so much, Mary! 😃💕 Yay for getting that big box of crayons! Yeah, I’m not a crayon-user, but I do appreciate the visual and love seeing all the colors!
Hello hello Charlie,
I owe you an apology for falling off the page these past few weeks. January brought with it terrible colds and worse fevers for the whole family. And then I landed a project that took up loads of time. But though I haven’t said hello, I’ve been reading your posts and loving them. I love love love today’s title. It made think back to the first 56 crayon set I got. That had seemed unreal after all those sets of 12 crayons I’d had uptil then. And last week I saw one online that had 250. Imagine that! Of course they’ve been made by a fancy company for advanced artists and they come at a very fancy price. But no harm in dreaming that they’re mine. On that note, I’ll wish you a set of 250 crayons. ❤❤
Loads of love Charlie,
Mugdha
Thanks so much, Mugdha! 😃💕 I hope your family is feeling better now! Philippe and I have been lucky this season so far, but then we tend to hide from the world most of the time so it’s not easy to get sick. I hope you project went well also! And, as for crayons… I would love to just see that box of 250 and take a big whiff of the smell. But then, I’d just go back to my same 12 watercolors and make every color I can imagine from those. It’s just so magical that way! Big hugs and much love to you! ❤️
Nothing like a beagle to enhance life! Cute picture.
Thanks so much! 😃💕
