It took me a little while to get through this ramble, but that’s because I had to leave midway and go out to Amazon to order those mini- Rock’em Sock’em robots for hubby’s Christmas stocking. See what you get me into to? I love your hens – I can see them strutting around the barnyard, gossiping “Cotcotcodet”!
I love these ladies! I have a thing for chickens. Joe won’t let me have any though. He’s pretty sure that he would end up taking care of them in bad weather when I didn’t want to go outside. He has a point. Lol!
Who can resist this gift of life…… one of my female cat (Sarah) jump into one of the gift boxes that my wife was looking for in our basement and I could not resist the idea of freeze that moment into a watercolor, so I took her a picture with my phone and then did this watercolor, hope you all like it…
For the December challenge of our regional amateur art association. The theme is \”Peace on earth\” and after some thinking I combined a peaceful snowy, Christmassy scene with the text of \”A Gaelic blessing\”. I hope you like it! I really had fun doing this 🙂 201912 Blessing
For birds I choose puffins. There is a large colony on the coast of Maine near the Canadian border that I want to see one of these days. They have such personalities. I need to practice at capturing that.
