Written by So “cat” is not a particularly unusual entry for C, but a couple people suggested a cranky cat and this made me think of Grumpy Cat. Not many cats have reached the levels of celebrity stardom that this one has so I thought she would be fun to doodlewash. Her real name is Tarder Sauce, she’ll be 4 years old in April and she’s from Morristown, Arizona. And best of all, she can cutely get away with the face that all of us wish we could make during work meetings.
Grumpy Cat’s permanent scowl has made her an internet sensation and netted her an annual income that’s larger than many Hollywood stars. She was also apparently named 2012’s most influential cat by MSNBC. There have been memes galore, books, and even movies starring this unusual little feline. Her award-winning quirks are actually caused by an underbite and feline dwarfism, which I guess would be rather odd to capitalize on if she were your actual child.
But nevertheless, this little cat has been the poster child for what we have all been thinking at some point or another. Whether she’s grumpy or just prophetic I’ll leave you to judge, but Grumpy Cat is rich so I’m sure she doesn’t really care at all what we think of her. Yeah…Grumpy Cat is totally loaded. I’ve informed Phineas that he needs to step it up a notch and make his dad wealthy. Lol And done! I can definitely guarantee a doodlewash for D! Hehe 😉
So grumpy! Though I could spend far too long laughing and awwing at cat videos online, I’ve never actually seen Tarder Sauce (hearing that took some recovery – what a name!) but I have heard a lot about Grumpy Cat. Your doodlewash certainly chimes with all of that – great stuff Charles!
