My painting holiday workshops in Italy are all about the fun of painting in a supportive group environment and are suitable for all levels. Mostly, we’ll paint en plein air; enjoying the light and the fresh air. My teaching is designed for small groups so there is always plenty of one-on-one time.
Each day will start with a short theory session then a demonstration of the day’s painting subject. I will teach you how I select my subject, quick sketching techniques, strategies to tackle complex subjects including lineal perspective and how to add people and crowds to street and city scenes.
