Carol and I are painting buddies, both retired teachers and fans of the Maryland countryside. We met in a seniors watercolor class. Our instructor, James Iams, is a well known marine watercolor teacher, and his subject of the Chesapeake and Atlantic seacoast areas are what attracted us to his class. We have continued painting scenes from the area. I am also a gardener and love painting flowers. Our show is a mixture of watercolor landscapes and flowers.
