When it comes to drinks, anyone who’s been reading along with me for some time knows I love bubbles. Drinks with bubbles just seem more festive, and I love the tickle on the tip of your nose when you bend forward and take a sip. From sparkling water to champagne, I’m a fan. This drink is part from reference and part made up, so I’ve no idea what’s bubbling within it, but it proved another chance to practice perspective. And I love lemon and lime things, so I’m sure I’d enjoy this mystery concoction, with or without alcohol. Though feel free to add some if you like, as you’ll have to name this drink since it doesn’t really exist. There are two straws, though, as I hope you’ll through caution to the wind and join me, imagining whatever it is that would make you happiest. That’s what this month has been about, after all. The happy things in life that make us smile. I hope you’ve been smiling all month along with me. There’s a world of wonderful things out there and life is best when we choose to experience them.
A quick note that if you experience times when Doodlewash is slow to load or seems inaccessible, I’m working with the wonderful folks at WordPress.com to try to get a fix. The site has grown quite a bit with a lot more people using its features, and it’s difficult sometimes for servers to keep up with everything. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll be able to find a solution so we can keep all the great features here on the site. Actually, a bubbly drink would really hit the spot right about now as debugging issues is an exhausting adventure. I’m secretly amazed and thrilled that so many of you showed up to try all the new awesomeness on Doodlewash! It’s so amazing and I thank you for jumping into this adventure with me. Also, I thank you for your patience as I try to help us get to the next level. As you must know by now, my inner child doesn’t give up very easily, so I’m confident there will be a winning and thrilling solution in our future.
There’s equally something fun when a little idea gets so big you can barely keep up with it. It’s equal parts exciting and thrilling as well as a bit daunting and terrifying. The kind of fizz that propels us on to greatness and makes exciting things happen next. Sure, we could curl up in a ball and say, “I give up!” But what’s the fun in that? No, I’m quite certain that the best way to approach life is always head on. Full of positivity and passion, ready to take on each battle and win! Giving up is far too easy a solution. It’s never very satisfying in the end and always filled with regrets. So, I’m going to forge on and make cool things happen. I’ve been like this my whole life and sometimes I even exhaust myself, but I can’t help but wonder if there’s something more. Something waiting just around the corner that will take an idea and make it epic. It’s either a trust in positive fate or just a side effect of sniffing too many fizzy drinks.

Awesome top view perspective !
Thanks so much, Anita! 😃💕
Thanks for all you do to keep this site going! I’m sure the glitches will be worked out. Meanwhile, enjoy your fizzy drink – I like the violet reflections from the straws.
Thanks so much, Sharon! 😃💕 It’s been quite a challenge as we grow to keep things running smoothly, but I’m equally confident we’ll get it all worked out.
I’ve just spent 15 minutes trying to come up with a name for your drink (you can’t issue challenges like that when there are personalities like mine around, lol). My first thought was Lemony Snickets, but that’s been taken. I think I’m going to call it the Positive Ion.
Hehe!! I love Positive Ion! That’s a brilliant name! Thanks, Sandra! 😃💕
I love the ‘joie de vivre’… maybe that’s the name of the drink
Ahhh… thanks!! 😃💕 Yay! I like that name! Can you say that “joie de vivre” has as certain joie de vivre? hehe
I do believe you can!
You did just name your drink – Throw Caution to the Wind. Perfect!
Lol… Love it! 😃💕 That should totally be a drink if it isn’t all ready! Sounds very high in alcohol though. hehe
I think I will call your drink a gin fizz doodle. I’d drink that.
Hehe! Thanks, Lisa! 😃💕 I gin fizz doodle sounds yummy!

Thanks so much, Mary! 😃💕 Working hard to make it all fixed up and working well!
No worries Charlie! Doodlewash is such a wonderful resource for information and community, it’s worth waiting for patiently!
Aww thanks, Jill! 😃💕 Hopefully, with some of the coming fixes, the wait won’t be so excruciating. But we’ve grown quite a bit and servers tend to struggle a bit more when that happens.
Love all the work on this Charlie,so perfect
Thanks so much, Pamela! 😃💕
Love the bubbles and fruit in your drink!
Thanks, Delores! 😃💕 Glad you liked this!
Your post made me think of how cool Fizzy Lifting Drinks would be in our world. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory had so many magical things to enjoy!
hehe!! Me too, Tom! 😃💕But a quick search showed me I already used that title on this post – https://doodlewash.com/fizzy-lifting-drinks/ – so I had shorten it! lol
Your drink looks yummy, I’d definitely drink it, but then again I’m a sucker for lemon /lime fizzy drinks.
Thanks, Sandra! 😃💕 Yay…. me too! Anything with lemon, lime and fizz is good in my book!
I agree Charlie. Bubbles are awesome. I’ve been drinking seltzer to cut down on sugary sodas but still get that fizziness.
I like the colors in your piece!
Thanks so much! 😃💕 Yeah, most of my bubbles comes in just the water variety these days, but that works too!
An awesome looking mystery drink. One that should help with all those technical issues you are dealing with. Thank you for all you do.
Thanks so much, June! 😃💕 Yeah, technical issues can definitely drive you to a fizzy drink! lol But I think I’ve battling through most of them and the site seems to be running a bit better more consistently now.
Yes it is. Your efforts are paying off. Have a bubbly. Lol
Gee, just what do you put in your fizzy drinks? ( It’s either a trust in positive fate or just a side effect of sniffing too many fizzy drinks.) lol!
Lol… I’ve no idea what’s in this one! But as long as it’s fizzy… I’m in! 😃💕
