When it comes to drinks, anyone who’s been reading along with me for some time knows I love bubbles. Drinks with bubbles just seem more festive, and I love the tickle on the tip of your nose when you bend forward and take a sip. From sparkling water to champagne, I’m a fan. This drink is part from reference and part made up, so I’ve no idea what’s bubbling within it, but it proved another chance to practice perspective. And I love lemon and lime things, so I’m sure I’d enjoy this mystery concoction, with or without alcohol. Though feel free to add some if you like, as you’ll have to name this drink since it doesn’t really exist. There are two straws, though, as I hope you’ll through caution to the wind and join me, imagining whatever it is that would make you happiest. That’s what this month has been about, after all. The happy things in life that make us smile. I hope you’ve been smiling all month along with me. There’s a world of wonderful things out there and life is best when we choose to experience them.

A quick note that if you experience times when Doodlewash is slow to load or seems inaccessible, I’m working with the wonderful folks at WordPress.com to try to get a fix. The site has grown quite a bit with a lot more people using its features, and it’s difficult sometimes for servers to keep up with everything. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll be able to find a solution so we can keep all the great features here on the site. Actually, a bubbly drink would really hit the spot right about now as debugging issues is an exhausting adventure. I’m secretly amazed and thrilled that so many of you showed up to try all the new awesomeness on Doodlewash! It’s so amazing and I thank you for jumping into this adventure with me. Also, I thank you for your patience as I try to help us get to the next level. As you must know by now, my inner child doesn’t give up very easily, so I’m confident there will be a winning and thrilling solution in our future.

There’s equally something fun when a little idea gets so big you can barely keep up with it. It’s equal parts exciting and thrilling as well as a bit daunting and terrifying. The kind of fizz that propels us on to greatness and makes exciting things happen next. Sure, we could curl up in a ball and say, “I give up!” But what’s the fun in that? No, I’m quite certain that the best way to approach life is always head on. Full of positivity and passion, ready to take on each battle and win! Giving up is far too easy a solution. It’s never very satisfying in the end and always filled with regrets. So, I’m going to forge on and make cool things happen. I’ve been like this my whole life and sometimes I even exhaust myself, but I can’t help but wonder if there’s something more. Something waiting just around the corner that will take an idea and make it epic. It’s either a trust in positive fate or just a side effect of sniffing too many fizzy drinks.

  1. I’ve just spent 15 minutes trying to come up with a name for your drink (you can’t issue challenges like that when there are personalities like mine around, lol). My first thought was Lemony Snickets, but that’s been taken. I think I’m going to call it the Positive Ion.

    1. Thanks so much, June! 😃💕 Yeah, technical issues can definitely drive you to a fizzy drink! lol But I think I’ve battling through most of them and the site seems to be running a bit better more consistently now.
