Hi Sharon, I think even if it’s a small space, it’s a travel palette so one doesn’t expect to have a lot of space. On the other hand, if you’re using it as a studio palette (I DIY’d a smaller QOR tin) then you can use a porcelain palette. It washes so well and never stains.
