I don’t think the low price was based on the poor quality. This isn’t the first Limited Edition tin that Schmincke has put out. They’ve done at least one other, last year, and it was well received. Some of the people who bought this years, did so because they bought last year’s and liked it. I think Schmincke just got caught out by poor quality control from whoever manufactured the tins. Time will tell how well the colors are liked overall.
