You’re not doing anything wrong my friend! The forums are separate from the Member’s Gallery by design. This allows people to upload other sorts of images like pictures of their art supplies, images for reviews, etc. It’s a way to make sure the gallery only contains images of art. In the main News Feed or in your profile you’ll see a “+Paintbrush” icon… this is the one that will add the image to the gallery. In the post box, there’s also an image icon in the lower right, that functions more like the Forums… you can add whatever you like to the post and be sure it doesn’t appear in the Art Gallery. Forums are for sharing and discussing your art, but if you want it to appear in the Member’s Art Gallery then head to the News Feed and select the “+Paintbrush” icon at the top right of the box to make a post: https://doodlewash.com/activity/ (or add it from your Profile).
