I am in the USA and use MOO for my cards.

IF I were going to make anything in the USA, and buy en masse for sales, I think I would pay the little bit extra and work locally (unless you have no local print person) because when you are gettign started the sheer numbers of questions and changes might be daunting.

One thing that you can also do is go to RedBubble or some such place and test your item on an actual mug.  the price to you is less than the price to others.
