I think it is about time I wrote a few more words about my art group
Which I now have 18 regular students every Thursday. Which I am very please with. When I had my hand operated on, my husband Roger took my class on and gave a class on perspectives, which went down very well, he gave exercises for them to do and all did very well , the morning class was a little more advanced than the second group because they only joined this January, so he did take it at a slower pace. First lessons on perspectives were good even I am now beginning to understand what it is all about. The second week was a little more complicated, but they all managed very well.
Last week I was back in charged and after explaining what I wanted them to do the general comment from the blokes was “When is Roger coming back?”
Do you think I ought to take that comment on board seriously ?? nah!
All I was asking them to do was o draw leaves on top of each other with a white pencil on black paper….. what is so difficult about that,?? I ask myself, anyway they all managed to take home some lovely pictures.
This week Dragon Flies using a ruler to measure, now the fun begins!!!
