I have seen bits of info about the life of watercolors, and in our normal business we are object conservators (museum artifacts and private collections. There is a lot of info out there but most of it is very technical, but I thought to post articles that are in plain-speak on this page, so those who want to can think about the long-term life of their paintings. I can answer questions BUT I am not a fine art conservator. I do know enough to get me in trouble.
