That is exactly what keeps me going with watercolor, even if I get frustrated.

    What is WATERCOLOR ? 🙂

Simple washes of transparent, water soluble fluid painted on 100 percent rag paper_the closest symbol in the virtual arts to the glory of light. Its beauty has not been overshadowed by recent discoveries of esoteric mediums;nor have 80 years of esthetic “isms” superseded it.

Watercolor is truly different from other mediums.  Sometimes I feel sorry for the artist who tells me they stay away from watercolor because it is too tricky.  They don’t know what they are missing out on.

Yes Sandra 🙂 I wish they turn back some day for this wonderful medium.I also knew some professional artists who thought that watercolor is for beginners and oil is the great medium for professionals.LOL.

“Nothing can come out of the artist that is not in the artist. All painting is autobiographical and is therefore by product of your personality, emotional capacity, sensitivity, discernment and esthetic power.Personal education and artistic growth are linked together. It is tall order and a life long job.”
