I keep that quote at my art desk to remind myself that I am happiest when creating a simple ink and wash piece. I love trying new techniques and supplies; but a good piece of paper, my Platinum Carbon Desk Pen, and a small set of watercolors will transport me to a place of peace every time!
@bekki-page I have just acquired that pen (or possibly a knock-off). but so far I am very happy with it. How about coloured cartridges? Have you sourced any yet?
Hi, Rod! I only use black ink in my Platinum, but Pilot makes a nearly identical desk pen which has an available converter so I can enjoy my ink collection.

Rod, I haven’t been able to find colored cartridges for my Platinum Carbon pen, but I got a converter and a bottle of waterproof Platinum Carbon Sepia and they work a treat (if you use the link in Charlie’s shop, part of the proceeds go to Dreaming Zebra)
Rod I have a converter and placed DeAtramentis Document Brown ink in it (waterproof) and it works fine.
