This is a value study that I did using General’s Sketch and Wash water-soluble graphite pencils
in a Stillman & Birn Delta sketchbook.
Nice! New to watercolor and sketching and value studies will help me I am sure… These are wonderful
This is wonderful, Sandra. Am going to have to pull out the water soluble graphite and play. You are such an inspiration!!
Thank you, Mary! I much prefer using the water-soluble graphite – can’t wait to see what you do with yours!
Thank you, Pamela. I don’t do these studies as often as I should. They do help.
Thank you, Kathy! One of the interesting classes you teach!
These studies are so important (both as a guide when you are painting and as a means of think about your subject). Very nice.
Thank you, Sergio! I agree with you on Values – they’re vital to a painting.
Simple and so…nice! I imagine so difficult to do…
