Walked around the First Friday art walk in the Crossroads district of Kansas City last night passing out Doodlewash buttons and cards. Pretty much talking to anyone who would listen about the fun and enjoyment of watercolor sketching. Turns out, there are quite a few people interested in the world of watercolor, like these amazing kids shown here. It was a cruelly warm evening, but the smiles we brought to faces made it all worth it. And, yes, they’ll be something new coming from Doodlewash just for kids in the future, (had a lot of Facebook requests, and when a mom tells you to do something, well… you’d be wise to go ahead and do it), so stay tuned!

    1. Hehe…you have a glass ball?? That would be super helpful! Still trying to figure out what’s next, but yes, could be products! And would love to see a Beverly Dyer children’s book!!! Do! Do!! Do!!! Traditional publishing is rough…I tried several years ago and ended up self-publishing instead just to get something made. At the time, I worked with another illustrator because I wasn’t drawing anything myself yet. 😊
