    @Sandra-Strait So true Sandra!  I didn’t used to like warm grey because it seemed so dirty, but then I had to do an old weathered, wooden fence and saw that colour do it’s magic!

    Angela Fehr introduces water soluble graphite for use with tonal value studies.  She uses a cake form of this product while I’ve used the pencils – either product works beautifully for this purpose.
