  • Charlie, I told you we must be family there somewhere! lol 😂

I wouldn’t mind so much if I weren’t goofus’ing in public all the time.  😊

Beautifully done,I love a nice pink rose.

Thank you Pamela!  They are my favourites.  ☺️  But then, I love any flower that’s pink … I love pink. 💖

Hello! Sorry its taken me so long to get around to posting some of my newbie newbie stuff here but I have been busy and travelling a lot!

Thought I’d share my latest piece; I just finished it now while trying out two new things; my set of Windsor & Newton Professional Watercolours (the 24 half-pan travel set is on a massive discount at Cass Arts ATM!), and the Cass Arts Watercolour Postcards. A pastel purple Derwent Watercolour Pencil was used to lay down the initial pencils and I used a Pentel Waterbrush to do the ‘inking’.

I’ve just been wanting to paint a girl with a plant blooming out of her head for over a week now!

    Your ‘flower girl’ is marvelous!

@fefetea  Ohhhhh Fefe this is darling!!! I love the soft subtle tones you’ve used! So so cute!  Well done you … and welcome back from your travels! ❤️❣️❤️

Aww thanks guys (and sorry for vanishing for a bit, things got a bit crazy on my side)

I’ve continued to practice and my style seems to have changed massively since this flower girl, although my palette has not (still loving French Ultramarine for shadows)

Awww I hope life has settled for you now, Fefe!  Never feel that you are obligated to post.  I’m all for living life and creativity to the fullest! ❤️😘

Settling into one’s palette is a lifetime achievement I think! lol
