While driving down highway 14 this bright and sunshiny day, I discovered an art store in Bingen, Washington, and I thought I’d mention it, for those of you who live in the Washington/Oregon area. They are about to move across the Columbia River to Hood River, Oregon (opening there on July 8,2020). They are open in-store.
They are small and most of the items were what I would consider artist grade – better than your student grade but not quite professional grade. Still they had better products than you can find at Craft Warehouse and Michaels. You can see what they have available at their online store.

And if you aren’t aware of it, the MerriArtist is a larger store located in McMinville, Oregon. They are only open for curbside or online, but plan to open on June 29. They are mostly professional quality art supplies. You can see what they have available by visiting their online store.
