Today’s wonderful doodlewashes come from Snehal Kank, originally from India (Maharashtra, Pune), and currently located in the United States (Minnesota). Be sure to follow her blog for more amazing doodlewashes and check out her Instagram feed. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with 4 years of IT experience as an Interaction Designer. (you can visit her online portfolio on Behance).
Since childhood, she has loved arts, crafts and drawing. Snehal says, “I am in love with watercolor painting in that you can do detailed work as well as a quick doodle…it’s all fun! I am using Sakura Koi Watercolors and Staedtler coloured pencils. Sakura Koi is awesome, colors are very fresh, I’d definitely recommend it!”
Currently she is practicing watercolor painting on a daily basis along with keeping herself updated in her career which includes the latest design trends, learning web-mobile technologies, new wire-framing tools, XHTML etc.
Snehal says, “I generally sketch with pencil and then add colors. Sometimes I work in layers to get the desired effect. Recently I bought a Pocket Brush Pen so I use it for outline purposes if needed.”
A couple of months back, she started her Wordpress blog (around the same time as Doodlewash began!) and she says, “in a short time I learned so many things with fellow blogger friends. It’s really nice to connect with new friends every day.” Couldn’t agree with that more, Snehal, and so happy to have you as a new friend and part of the Doodlewash family! Thanks for all the beautiful things you create and share every day!

You are very kind Snehal! Art is one of those things that we are forever in learning stages I think! Just some longer than others! But so much to learn and so fun to do! And… Such nice people on the art world. 😊
Hey hii Jodi! Thank you for following my blog and many many thanks to doodlewash for introducing me to all of you 🙂
You’re quite welcome, Snehal! I love when fellow doodlewashers “meet”! 😃
Her work is stunning!!! I’ve been enjoying it for a short while. Look forward to her daily work. Very inspirational!
I know!! Snehal creates truly beautiful things! So happy to know you’re following her too!! 😃
I think she may have found me through you and then I followed her back. Her stuff is crazy good, and she focuses on subjects I really enjoy too. Nice feature here!
Awesome! So happy to get everyone linked up! 👍🏻😃
I like these very much (and why is it the “Like” buttons isn’t appearing?). These have a sort of authenticity to them. I think it is the colors Snehal has chosen–just a bit muted. I would very much like to achieve color like that.
Snehal is awesome…definitely follow her! And WordPress has been a bit wonky lately. Are you viewing it in the Reader or in a browser on the actual blog?
Yes. I’m back and forth between the Reader and the blog. I’m still not seeing Like buttons on your site. I have a feeling my little ThinkPad is going the way of all flesh.
I’ve also had problems in the browser with Like buttons on sites (when on a phone or iPad). Sometimes get a “Loading…” message and nothing ever quite loads there.
Exactly. That’s what I’m seeing: “Loading.” So I have been using my “like” power to Tweet a few. They are great.
Thanks!! Appreciate that! Yeah…I don’t know what’s up with it, but it’s happening to me too on WP sites lately.
Beautiful watercolors! The birds are so lovely and the peony close-up is stellar. Thank you for the introduction and sharing these treats.
Definitely follow Snehal!! 😉She’s amazing!
How beautiful!!! Love those paintings! Thanks for introducing Snehal, Charlie! 😊
