Hello! My name is Yellow Xiayu. I come from China. I went to Japan to learn economics in college, but I found that I love drawing so much, so I left school and started to learn to draw 3 years ago.
At the first, I used colored pencil, because it is easy to draw. Then I found water-soluble lead, and it was funny to draw and made me get the feeling of watercolour.
So I thought, why don’t I try watercolour directly. So, I bought my first watercolour pigment, Winsor & Newton. It is great brand of pigment, but it was not fit for me, I think.
Then I bought and tried the other brands of watercolour pigment, like Van Gogh, Schmincke, Holbien and so on. Schmincke have beatiful colour and easy to control. I found i use Schmincke most of all,maybe it is fit for me .
Watercolour paper is very interesting, different paper can make different effects. I tried to draw with different paper and enjoy seeing the varied effects. I suggest to my friends to try it too.
I love all kinds of beautiful things in the world or in my ordinary life. I love to keep them in the paper using my watercolour. I hope you enjoy, too.
