Written by We’ve been rather busy this week, and last night I realized Philippe hadn’t made a doodlewash yet for his Sunday feature. But there was wine to drink and a delicious dinner to eat, so it was too late to fix it. Luckily, I found this tiny doodlewash he made a couple weeks ago, so Voila!
Actually, the focus of this weekend has been celebrating our 1 year anniversary! On this day one year ago, we were married in California. A shame Phineas couldn’t be there but he hates to fly and doesn’t like to attend weddings.
Paper is the traditional gift for a first year anniversary, so finding this little piece of Arches paper with flowers on it was close enough. We didn’t give each other paper gifts, but instead skipped going out to dinner so we could buy new clothes. Philippe’s idea and it was brilliant!

Awww….Thanks so much Cynthia!! ❤️😃We stayed in and Philippe made dinner (Filet mignon…you know it’s a special occasion when we eat meat! Lol) and with the money we saved we went to Marshall’s and dug through the crap until we found some cool sweaters. We don’t like to pay full price! 😊hehe
