Adorable, Charlie! I laughed out loud when I saw him hiding behind the gourds – ready to take one of those to his own den. I hope Philippe makes those sweater cookies so you can decorate them in crazy ways. And enjoy the coming weeks!
Super sketch and painting! As soon as I saw it, I thought it must be Philippe! Congratulations on a month of spooking yourself with challenges. I love all of the techniques you’ve tried and all of them have made really successful drawings and paintings.
Oh my goodness! This is so delightful, Charlie! The painting is wonderful – stippling! And you of self-professed non-patience. : ) And your story is so inspiring, taking time to honor those we no longer have with us. Thanks, Charlie!
Adorable sloth – and one in motion! Of course, you will take the path least taken, Charlie. It’s fantastic!! I was fortunate to see sloths in their natural habitat last May in Panama – you have captured the image of one I saw perfectly!
This is so special! I love that you didn’t intend to create friends in globes a globe apart, but there they are. Wow, Charlie! What an amazing drawing – hand, foreshortening, you and your blue glasses, and, well, chips! Thanks for sharing your stretch from your comfort zone. You continue to inspire in ways you probably never realized!
Congratulations, Charlie, on another fantastic WWM!!! Always so much fun and it’s amazing and wonderful to see how participation has grown!! I am looking forward to seeing what you do next with the site. No matter what happens – and with Little Charlie leading the way it will undoubtedly be fantastic – this is the best site around!!
Wow, Charlie! What an experience! Thanks for the wonderful reminders: appreciate the ones we love around us and show up no matter what. Glad you guys are okay and that we all get to share your cup of coffee and brown sugar.
Happy happy birthday, Charlie! You probably are better off just remembering Spam through a doodlewash. In the 80s I was a volunteer teacher in Micronesia where Spam was on every restaurant menu and served as part of school lunches. Eggs, rice, and Spam – maybe Philippe will want to try that. hahahahahaha
I love your shy flamingo, Charlie! And it always makes me smile that you work to confuse the social media algorithms. You have truly created a fun secret club here, except the secret is known to everyone and they just have to join in. Truly a flock of wonderfully colored watercolor birds!
