Yesterday @angelfehr did a livestream where she started her painting from a reference photo turned sideways. So I decided to give it a try myself.
Last week my family was up near Idaho City and stopped to fish at one of my favorite spots. I spent a lot of time fishing here as a kid.
I did some paintings while I was there but I wasn't super impressed with them. So last night I flipped a photo sideways that I took up there last week.
I like this one much better. Although I have to share that painting pine trees sideways, will mess with your brain in the strangest ways.🤗
@mary-roff Hi Mary: It's Kaye who hasn't been here in so long I don't recognize the place. I wondered if you still plan to go the the FWS conference next week and if we could meet up to see each other in person. I am staying at the Sheraton with 4 other artist friends and one room is in my name (Kaye Boggs) We will only be staying two nights Thursday and Friday and will be traveling back to Brevard County on Saturday. Leave me a message at the sign in desk if you get there first and I will leave one when we arrive. My cell phone # is 321-258-5049. Hope to see/meet you in person... Kaye
