Thanks. The original painter’s work is softer with more tonal variations so I’d like to get that skill better.

Posting 2: Chamillionaire and feather. So, I bought a different brand paper because it was on sale and I thought my “practice” painting doesn’t require the better paper. WRONG! So very wrong. These 2 paintings are on the cheap paper. I couldn’t blend anything. Barely could wash over a wash (I know to let things dry). Scrubbing/lifting impossible.…[Read more]

Doodlewash -Sled- I tried to keep myself to 30 min, starting after I sketched. Wow! Closer to 40 and not done but I focused on texture. The red arrow- first go; blue arrow 2nd go ; Yellow arrow I liked that texture area best. I tried different brushes and lines. 20230118_102517
