I’ve used various pens, including dip pens, but my current favourites are all refillable technical pens (with whatever ink you want). Look for fast-drying waterproof inks, as even though there are a quite a few waterproof inks, they’re still prone to smudge/bleed a bit if not completely dry before using watercolour over them.
I had a little time today to show you the Pruche colours I purchased (they come in half pans only). They are the ultramarine blue, burnt sienna and A.P. light violet. All lovely colours. I’m very happy with them and would like to try more of her paints.
I will, promise. I’m just bit pressed for time lately (job changes, etc). If you take a look at her site, she does have some good swatches and I can say that they are true to her photos, at least the 3 that I chose.
