After over-watered the paper to the point that paint has passed on the others side of the paper and really too much over-worked the paper (I am really surprised that the paper had not tear with the beating I have done to it). Finally finish it and really proud of this one :3 001
I believe that’s true, and sheep have a grooved upper lip (but I’d swear some goats do too). And goats will put their tails down when they’re sick. Sometimes, it’s really hard to tell and when you mix in the antelope, I guess I can understand the confusion, lol.
Today’s art challenge prompt of lake, made me first think of frogs, but then Philippe suggested a duck so that’s where we ended up instead. There are just a few days left in June and very soon we’ll be heading
And perhaps your memory is correct and you did communicate with that duck in that language we all forget as we grow older. I like the notion that there is a little magic around us. Certainly nothing that facts can prove, but never proved incorrect either.
Aww thanks so much, Jodi! 😃💕I think things always have a way of turning out as they should. But, if you’re ever in doubt, a long conversation with a duck is certainly a nice distraction to help you realize just how perfect life really is. 😉
In Door County where I grew up, there was a duck pond and a machine where you could insert a quarter and get a cup of dried corn to feed the ducks. What a thrill. And a bit scary when all of those fat ducks came waddling up in a mob to be fed. They took all of that away now, but I remember it so fondly.

This is so pretty Wendy! It has a gentle feel to it and reminds me of a botanical painting.
