Day 4 Prompt-Black Sheep-I didn’t like the outcast symbolism of the black sheep and I didn’t want to draw a sheep, so did some word association with black; black night, Black Bart, Black heart, Black clouds, and settled on Black Orchid. Black is a very difficult color to paint as it sucks up all the light and so I tried to layer different violets and blues and not get to worried about whether the layers overflowed the flower or not. #doodlewashmay2019 #sketchbookrevival2019 #watercolorpractice #watercolordaily Black Orchid_0001 (2)
