I don’t see any mistakes! You might, but you’re using the wrong word. They are ‘character flaws’ and as any writer knows, those flaws are the interesting thing about a story, and a painting is a story.

Lovely! They’re interesting paints. It always takes me a bit to get used to them, but then I love painting with them.
They’re completly different. Imho they sit between watercolor and gouache. The lifting of layers can be beneficial, when you get used to it.
