Bone Coat and Broomstick Ride for Inktober. Fossils are not actually bone. The bones are coated with mineral which seep in and eventually replace the bone completely. At that point they are fossilized. And for day 28 of Inktober – With its anti-space brakes, air bubble expansion bag, automated landing gear and other safety devices, the…[Read more]
No, I didn’t. My husband used to do that show with his glass but it’s been a few years. Did you get to the festival? It’s been years since i’ve been there but it used to be an amazing festival. Actually, Mt. Dora is a pretty nice place to visit if I remember correctly. I only do a couple of small, local shows and the Sunday beach market when…[Read more]
I did make it to the Mt Dora festival. There was some nice stuff but it was awfully crowded. There was a woman selling journals similar to the ones you make, and I was going to talk to her to see if it was you, but my sister-in-law, who was with me has Alzheimer’s and she was getting overwhelmed so we had to leave before I had the chance. There is so much beauty out there.…[Read more]

Fabulous Sandra! I’m hoping to spend some time in one of my sketchbooks with my qouache. I have a list of colors that I want to get to sublimate what I have but I’ll likely have to do it a bit at a time. Maybe a few of my paintings will sell at my exhibit. 😉 positive thoughts!!!
