There are some more cons, but, overall I’m trying not to insist on complete perfection in order to be satisfied – at least not now in the very beginning of learning. I’m learning that watercolors can be so beautiful not only in spite of the sometimes “imperfections”, but BECAUSE of them.
I’m trying to be sure and learn something from each exercise. I’m trying out a couple of different brands of paint, too, so I want to be sure I know what I used where when I decide. We don’t have much available in the line of good paint where we live (Ukraine), unfortunately. I may try to order some Sennelier from Great Britain eventually.
