Thank you so much, Yvonne! Finally, after all this time! I started on my next one…not good, made a really beginner mistake (but then, what am I except a beginner?). Will restart this week. Trouble is, it is a co-worker, so there is a lot riding on it. Perhaps, I should try to paint one in between, like a relative in Florida (I’m in NJ). 😉
Yvonne, yes I like your idea; I have learned to check the shade and strength of the paint on a separate piece of paper. However, I made only one shade at a time for the above portrait.
