A blank paper or canvas is an opportunity to create something new. But sometimes we overthink on what to draw or paint. A great inspiration is to paint the background first. Follow me @harmonythoughts on Instagram and share in the comments what you enjoy most about watercolor and tag a friend) Share this giveaway with others who you think need the class! No social media? We watched a Chinese New Year parade last weekend. There were various performances done by children, adult and senior citizens. It was entertaining and people were cheering and waving their lightsaber.. i mean light sticks. 😊 I managed to squeeze in some people sketching despite the distraction of a few curious fellows wondering what I was up to. I continued sketching at an eatery, and finally had to include my husband somewhere in the sketch (guess where). 😃 I'm joining the #OneWeek100People2018. This is so timely as we participate in #rekindlememories. The challenge is about sketching 100 people from March 5 to 9. The goal is PRACTICE. Not perfection. If you wish to challenge yourself to sketch people, learn and enjoy the process, please head here: https://citizensketcher.com/2018/02/19/announcing-oneweek100people2018-starts-monday-march-5/ 80797877
