Lori, Zentangle is really a very forgiving type of artform, which can be practiced by beginner and advanced artists alike. It’s perfect for those times when you don’t want to create figurative or representative work. Just draw 🙂
I think you will love working with color. Just keep in mind that adding color brings a whole set of new challenges, so be gentle wit yourself and try to work with a few colors at a time, don’t go for all colorful or you’ll lose control over it.
