Topiary Horses. I love googling ‘topiary’ to get inspiration for my stylized landscapes. Usually, I just scroll through the photos and then go off to do a painting but occasionally I’ll see something that I just have to paint from a reference. These are cool Sandra! You are making me excited to try my new paper but I found that I have to learn to play nicely with my gouache first. That didn’t go as well as I would have liked this afternoon. Humbling but tomorrow is another day. I’ve been scrolling through YouTube videos this evening.

The elder told the…[Read more]
Fantastic, Sandra! I also picked up casein to use as under painting for gouache. Last weekend at open studios I met an artist that paints with casein on muslin and does fantastic very large paintings that took my breath away. Johniene Papandreas from Peterborough, NH. ASPACEBETWEENBREATHS.COM
