Thanks Sandra. Your blog is detailed to know the difference between Acrylic Gouache and water one. My concept wasn’t clear before your comment. I am considering ‘Da Vinci Gouache CMYK +2 Whites Set’ of Da Vinci. Many sites like Cheap Joe’s is also offering some discount.

Thanks Sandra. I don’t trust reviews randomly but thanks for your suggestion. By the way, I can’t see your replies on the post. It is coming on my wall. But anyway, thanks. I also heard that gouache ones are mixture of both acrylic and water paints. If yes then it is essential to add water? Or oil?

I just added watercolour paint in the title but in actual, gouache is soluble in water and yes, it also has properties of acrylic paint. I am not able to edit it that’s why mentioning here.

I haven’t tried all the brands in Drawing Fan’s review, but I agree on all points with the brands I have used (everything but the Caran d’Ache and Arteza). I think you can use that review as a good reference in making your decision. If you want to be able to lift colors, then don’t buy Acryla (aka Acrylic) Gouache. Expect to spend some time…[Read more]

This is outstanding. Just remembering me Ghibli studio and some old movies. Especially, I love the way you used the colour schemes. May I ask which paints did you used? At some places, it gives a gesture that you did some pencil work with crayons but I think you also used some paints like gouache paints. Am I right? If yes, then please recommend…[Read more]

This is amazing….
I would love to use it for my paintings especially in those paintings where I need light reflection or transparency. I really appreciate your work.

Gerri Dudzinski replied to the topic How do you Cad? 🙂 in the forum Art Supplies You Use 11 months, 1 week ago
I like to use cadmium paints but stopped using it when my uncle Fredrick told me that it can be harmful to health if inhaled in the powder form. I paint near the window of the room so I avoid the cadmium paint.

Gerri Dudzinski replied to the topic Easels? in the forum Art Supplies You Use 11 months, 1 week ago
I use easel for oil painting and avoid using it for watercolor because watercolor starts dripping off the easel and ruins my paintings.
