New brushes! I told myself no more round brushes. I have way too many of those.
So here I am with other types. They’re fairly inexpensive, a local art brand. (I don’t like to splurge on expensive brushes and prefer to spend them on cotton paper and paints.) The stippler, scruffy and comb are new to me and I’m keen to try out and see what marks they make IMG_20180718_124838_100Janessa Sanio posted an update in the group Art SuppliesNew brushes! You’ll have fun with these. I always find myself going back to the rounds and flats, and I tell myself I should really spend more time exploring the other types of brushes.
I really can’t live without a rigger. I can paint nearly anything with a big fat round and a rigger. But oh doesn’t that comb look nice! I wonder if it would be an easy shortcut for pulling grasses? When you have a chance to try them out, please share your experiences!
I have a 1/2 inch angled flat brush, is that a sword? I originally got it for one stroke acrylic painting.
