I think the main trick is finding the right paper and figuring out how much water is needed to soften the marker lines just as much as you want.

Thank you for sharing this with us! I have always had poor results with watercolor markers. I never thought about the type of paper! These look like they would be fun to use. Beautiful colors. Your work always amazes me! I knew you would turn that page of puddles into something wonderful.
