Please everyone tell me what blue you used on your kingfisher. That was my biggest struggle. I mixed colbalt, prussian and ultramarine and still not super happy. I think the blues you used are lovely. I had my QOR colors out this past week and I think I used Payne’s Grey, a bit of Ultramarine Blue and some Burnt Sienna.

This is gorgeous! I haven’t done my Kingfisher yet, but when I’ve done them in the past I used a teal & phthalo blue and then touched it up by applying either iridescent medium or a metallic blue – sparingly. Just in a few places along the back and tail. Hard to scan or photo, but it looks good in real life.

Great memory and luscious looking grapes Mary! I have a Concord grape vine that covers the archway that leads to the back yard. I’ve never made jelly which is more work than I’m willing to do. My husband is the grape jelly fan.
