The prompt list is great to me from a comfort zone. Being a novice (2yrs) and self-taught sites like these are great. I can be intimidating to put stuff out there but kind words of encouragement and constructive criticism help with growth and learning.

You can always go abstract. That’s what I do when inspiration fails. Broad swatches of color and a pattern or two. Patterns don’t have to be swirls, etc.
Put something similar to the up and down of High Rise buildings in about three places and you’ve got an abstract city, lol.
