It’s rare I do landscapes because it feels overwhelming to capture the essence of the great outdoors. I am typically caught up in the details and in this painting I captured the scene with very little detail. 🙂 View
When I was in grade school, I used to enjoy cutting out silhouettes from a sheet of black paper. I like silhouettes because of their dramatic simplicity. A silhouette breaks down a subject into its simplest form
