It\'s rare I do landscapes because it feels overwhelming to capture the essence of the great outdoors. I am typically caught up in the details and in this painting I captured the scene with very little detail. 🙂 watercolor

Painting on location is really fun. I photograph the subject as a reference as I begin the painting so that I can capture the light and shadow. That way I can enjoy the surroundings and go back to painting later. sbboats
