“Kudzu Triptych” is a group of three watercolor and watercolor pencil paintings in different color temperatures. Kudzu is a vine that had been growing wild in forests of the U.S. since Catching a ride on cargo from Japan. Although the berries are beautiful, the vine climbs trees and bushes in forests and chokes them out. The middle painting is watercolor pencil, the outside paintings are watercolor. From a photo I took on a Plein Air outing at a state park.
