Thank you for sharing your story, Emaan! First of all, your paintings are lovely. And you are absolutely right about the joy AND stress we can experience in our watercolor journeys. Especially when we are trying to learn a new technique or aspect, right? Keep at the painting — as much as you can in between studies — and keep sharing your beautiful work.

I never managed to paint while I was homeschooling my kids and although getting to it in the morning before “class” started would have been smart, I gave that time to other things.
This is a new day though — so let’s paint together! 😄
Oh! We have a couple metal straws at our house too! But also teenage boys, so we just reuse the straws that come with their slurpees when they buy them. 😄 Have you tried the silicone straws yet? Some have a “bend” at the top end already. I don’t know if these will be good or just feel squishy and weird between your teeth… what do you think?
