\"Christmas Star 2020/ Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter\" Watercolor. New title: Star of Hope: I was fortunate to observe this astronomical phenomenon on December 21, 2020, the same evening as Winter Solstice. The illumination appeared as one star, and I was able to take several photos for posterity. I painted it quite large, to suggest its significance. Today, on January 6, 2021, I hope that our country, the USA, can resume the democracy on which it was founded, so, I\'ve re-titled this painting, \"Star of Hope.\" Christmas Star 2020
