I’m fortunate to receive products from Exaclair USA for review and giveaways. The last one I did was for Jacques Herbin’s new Amethyste de l’Oural, which is a deep purple with a silver sheen. For all that it’s dark, it has a good degree of transparency. I haven’t tried to use it for painting, but I intend to, soon!
now see, I so want to get into inks! I have a dip pen on my WANT list right now. I know almost nothing about dip pens but I do know I want a super flexible nib. Which one is the most flexible, I want to make really unique to me writing, much like Danny Gregory does! Oh, does it matter that I’M LEFT HANDED?
Have a look at jetpens.com. They have really in-depth reviews of every brand of pen they carry, and do lots of side by side comparisons. It’s really helpful when you are trying to decide which might suit you best. I am a lefty as well, and I use several different vintage glass pens. The nibs aren’t flexible, but they each have different characteristics.
