Sounds like a perfectly wonderful day and evening…and I’m with you on the duct tape.

Yup! Duct tape all the way. I was on the Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resin design teams once upon a time, so I have played with resin quite a bit. But time and smell and mess factor? Worth it for creative effort. But for mere repair? Duct tape, every time!

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is getting out the ornaments. We have a very personalized collection as we often bought ornaments during family vacations, and let each child purchase a new one each year, reflecting their interests at the time. Everyone looks forward to getting them out, as each embodies a story and a memory. I do have my parents collection of glass ornaments from the 1930s – 1950s as well.

Our longest standing tradition is to was the old Grinch cartoon. I’m heartbroken if I miss it and I almost have it by heart. Otherwise it’s all about the food!😁
