I began this painting as a demonstration on drawing and painting moving water reflections, with a limited palette, from my photo of a calm ocean pool near my hale on Kaua`i. By putting the photo away, I completed it from memory. The total drawing and painting time was about 35 minutes.

  That hint of red just makes the painting. Glorious!

    Thanks, Sandra! It’s actually Quin’ Coral, but since the blue’s mostly Manganese, the coral takes on a red bias.
